We believe in cultivating young minds through a unique blend of the International Primary Curriculum (IPC), Cambridge English, and Mathematics.

Amongst our students we have Dutch children, but also children from different nationalities, and that is one of the things that makes Eerde special. We celebrate the international character of our school in different ways.

As part of a Dutch community, students are engaged in Dutch culture while still being educated in English. Our primary department is split up in 2 groups, the lower and upper primary, with an average group size of 5 to 10 students maximum per class. Eerde is one of the few international primary schools where you do not need to have an international passport or background to be able to study here. Dutch students are also more than welcome to join us.

With our small class sizes and academic offer, we offer a unique combination of curricula and subjects suitable for every student’s needs.

Best of both worlds

International schools all over the world generally teach either the International Primary Years Curriculum (IPC) or Cambridge Primary. At Eerde we teach both!

We believe in cultivating young minds through a unique blend of the International Primary Curriculum (IPC), Cambridge English, Mathematics, the International Early Years curriculum (for our youngest students) in combination with outdoor learning.

Alongside these curricula, we offer music, PE, philosophy, drama and art lessons to our primary students.

Whether it’s science experiments in the fresh air, interactive history lessons in nature, or physical education in our expansive outdoor spaces, we create an environment where curiosity flourishes.

At Eerde we believe that every child is unique; together with the parents and our experienced (international) team, we develop pathways for every child to be able to follow the curriculum in a personalised way.

Our curriculum is taught in English, however we also offer Dutch classes for the Dutch students.
