Our youngest learners continued with their topic about different materials. This week, they studied different types of fabric. They learned that cotton comes from a plant, wool from sheep, and nylon is made by humans by mixing chemicals, almost like plastic. They discovered that woolen clothes keep us warm, and we use them more in the winter. During the summer, we prefer to wear cotton, especially when it is warm outside, like today.

After investigating the fabrics, they designed their own clothes. Aren’t they amazing?
