During Dutch class, we do Comprehension reading every week and the lessons are linked to a news topic. Last week it was about the seal rehabilitation centre in Pieterburen which is going to move. The children watched a news video about the topic and afterward, the oldest learners answered some questions. The youngest students learned more about the ee sound and letters. While the children were working on their tasks we followed some of the seals in the rehab centre through the webcam, it felt like we were in Pieterburen ourselves.
