I went to a Rijksmuseum with my school. We went with a bus. We needed to drive for 2 hours. While we were driving I was reading a book about water animals. When we arrived we were walking with a lady called Bente. We walked with Bente around the museum. And by the way, I´m Sara, I’m from the Netherlands.
We researched paintings that Rembrandt made. My favourite part is that I was a researcher and we researched real paintings. Therefore I needed to go under a black blanket with a uv-flashlight. I did that with a boy from Upper primary called Williame. I needed to wear some yellow glasses because if the light shined in my eyes I would be blind, at first I was a little nervous under the black blanket and with the flash light, but when I tried with the flash light I actually liked it. We answered questions about the painting. I think it is a real painting. At last, we went back to school and we went home. This was my trip to the Rijksmuseum.
